Wanaka

Thursday morning we did our own things in Wanaka. I had a Thai massage, which was nice, although not as relaxing as those I’ve had in the past. Rich had a via farrata adventure at Wildwire Wanaka.

Via farrata is a method of rock climbing using fixed steps, cables, wires, and bridges. Rich had never done it before and he had a blast!

We took a walk along the lake before dinner–it is such a beautiful little town!

We think Arthur would love this dino slide even more than Poppo did!

On our walk through town, we were tempted by several restaurants–for such a small place, it has a lot of good restaurants–but we decided to stick with the one I had booked, and we were both very glad we did! The Little Street Kitchen was excellent!!
